-Leidos (NYSE: LDOS ), a national security, health and engineering solutions company, was awarded a prime contract by U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (SMDC/ARSTRAT). The single-award firm-fixed-price, level-of-effort (FFP LOE) has a one-year based period of performance, two one-year options and a total contract value of approximately $11 million if the options are exercised. The task order is awarded under the Warfighter Modeling Simulation Analysis and Integration Support IDIQ (indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity) contract. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas .
SMDC/ARSTRAT conducts space and missile defense operations and provides planning, integration, control and coordination of Army forces and capabilities in support of U.S. Strategic Command missions. Under the contract, Leidos and its teammate will upgrade, maintain and provide technical support to the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense (JIAMD) Hardware in the Loop (HITL) Simulator.
