CACI International Inc (NYSE:CACI) announced today it was awarded a prime position with a total potential value of $23 million on a contract to provide analysis, modeling, and consulting in support of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Manpower, Personnel, Training & Education (DCNO, MPTE) (N1). This four-year (one base plus three options) multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract represents new work for CACI, growing the company's presence in its Business Systems market area.

The DCNO MPTE N1 provides all planning, programming, policy, and execution of manpower, personnel, training, and education activities in order to provide the Navy operating forces with trained personnel to support the missions assigned by the National Command Authority.

CACI will compete for task orders within nine different functional areas to provide analysis, modeling, and consulting services to support MPTE program/policy development, execution, analysis, and justification. The company has over 20 years of experience of effectively supporting and advising decision-makers on human resources policies and systems within the complex Navy MPTE enterprise, including providing continued business process transition services and business processing reengineering, requirements analysis, and enterprise architecture support for the personnel and pay systems of the Bureau of Naval Personnel.

John Mengucci, CACI's Chief Operating Officer and President of U.S. Operations, said, "CACI has developed an end-to-end understanding of the human resources lifecycle within our Business Systems market area. We look forward to utilizing this expertise to help the Navy become more cost- and time-efficient in its manpower, personnel, training, and education processes."

According to CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury, "This win reflects the success of our strategy to build our business in human resources and human capital support across the federal government. It also increases our footprint as a leader in providing systems that maximize troop readiness on the national level and enhance career opportunities at the individual level for every member of the military."
