-Aptima, Inc., the leader in human-centered engineering, today announced that Janet Spruill has joined the company as Vice President. Spruill's responsibilities include guiding business strategy planning and execution, supporting successful transition of science and technology (S&T) research programs, and expanding Aptima’s Orlando operations.

Spruill brings to Aptima over 25 years of leadership experience across the defense, intelligence, federal, and commercial sectors with deep expertise as a human performance technologist, learning solutions architect, and principal consultant developing and working with technology-based learning systems. She currently serves as the Conference Chair for the 2016 Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference ( www.iitsec.org ), having been selected by the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA).
