WB GROUP has joined the Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) – the key European industry organization that brings together companies from the aerospace, defence, and security sectors. WB GROUP’s membership enables deeper engagement in dialogue with European Union institutions and strengthens the representation of Poland’s defence industry at the international level.

Following unanimous approval by the Board, the Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) has accepted two new members: WB GROUP from Poland and Czechoslovak Group from the Czech Republic. Both memberships took effect on 4 December 2025.

"I warmly welcome both new members to the ASD family. Their experience and technological expertise will make a valuable contribution and further strengthen ASD. I am particularly pleased to see increasing engagement from Central and Eastern Europe’s dynamic industrial base, which plays an important role in Europe’s security and resilience y" said Camille Grand, ASD Secretary General.

"Membership in ASD is a natural step for the Poland-based, globally expanding WB Group, reflecting our strong European roots. Since 1997, we have focused on delivering advanced, battle-proven unmanned systems, loitering munitions, and command-and-control solutions that meet the real needs of demanding users" said Piotr Wojciechowski, CEO of the WB GROUP.

ASD focuses on matters related to civil aviation, defence, security, and the space sector. It supports its members by developing joint positions on key industry issues and by working with EU institutions to shape regulatory frameworks.

The association also provides its members with access to up-to-date information on international projects and development programmes, creating a platform for knowledge-sharing and collaboration within the high-tech sector.

"Our growing membership and the diverse profiles of our members underline ASD’s identity as a genuinely European association representing a broad ecosystem of companies supporting a sovereign and secure Europe" added Camille Grand.

"In WB GROUP we are committed to actively shaping a competitive European defence industry and strengthening our participation in international and European industrial and capability programmes" declared Piotr Wojciechowski.

Following the admission of WB GROUP and CSG, ASD – headquartered in Brussels – now includes 28 companies and 23 national associations from 21 European countries, collectively representing over 4,000 entities. Together, they account for 99% of total turnover and 94% of employment in this industry across Europe. ASD represents the leading manufacturers and suppliers in the high-technology sector.

The association plays an important role in shaping the operating conditions of the European industrial and technological base by supporting competitiveness, innovation, and the development of joint research and development initiatives. It brings together the largest European industrial groups and national associations, acting as a unified voice of the sector in relations with EU institutions and international partners.
