Vietnam Airlines Chooses Messier-Bugatti-Dowty to Provide Landing Gear Maintenance for A321 Fleet

Messier-Bugatti-Dowty (Safran) has been chosen by Vietnam Airlines to provide landing gear overhaul services for their A321 jets in a three-year contract covering nine aircraft.

Messier-Bugatti-Dowty's MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) facility in Singapore will provide overhaul services for Vietnam Airlines' A321 landing gears.

The airline had already selected Messier-Bugatti-Dowty in 2012 to provide landing gear maintenance services on eight Boeing 777s, then in 2014 for five A321s.

According to Vincent Mascré, Chief Executive Officer of Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, "This latest contract consolidates our long-standing partnership with Vietnam Airlines and reflects our sustained commitment to delivering the highest and competitive level of services, quality and performance expected by our customers."
