Vencore Wins Position On $99 M ID/IQ Multiple Award Contract For Missile Strike Planning And Execution Systems Software

Vencore, Inc. announced today that it was selected among nine companies to perform on an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) multi-award contract valued at $99.0 million to support the U.S. Navy at its Naval Aviation Strike Planning and Execution Systems program management office for Cruise Missiles Command and Control (PMA-281).

Vencore currently provides software development for critical components that make up the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) for the Tomahawk missile system. The work encompasses strike planning, execution, post-mission debrief and theater mission planning for the Tomahawk cruise missile. This new award also supports strike planning and execution activities for PMA-281.

Vencore has provided software development service to Navy strike programs for more than fifteen years. The IDIQ Multiple Award Contract will offer a vehicle by which contractors can provide additional capabilities to PMA-281 into its existing and future software development programs.  Vencore will perform the work at its locations in Patuxent River, Md. and Campbell, Calif.
