-The 4++ generation fighters underwent the full factory test cycle, were accepted by the maintenance personnel and tested in various operating conditions by the pilots of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. The aircraft flew to their home airfield.
The Su-35S is a transition link to the fifth generation aircraft systems. Propulsion based on new thrust vectoring engines with digital control system provides a considerable improvement of flight and maneuvering performance.
“Our primary objective is to ramp up the production of the necessary military products. This primarily refers to the Su-34, Su-35 and Su-57. Increase in the throughput is planned for each of these types. We will further expand the production volume to provide these vehicles,” said Vadim Badekha, General Director of UEC.
Production capacity utilization growth raises questions with the manufacturer regrading professional development of the current personnel and involvement of new personnel for key engineering and trade jobs. Commissioning of key technology upgrade objects to remove bottlenecks in the production cycle will ensure further ramp-up.
