-Tecore Networks, a pioneer supplier of innovative American-made 3G and 4G LTE mobile network infrastructure, today announced it will be showcasing its dynamic Raven ® LTE at the Modern Day Marine and MILCOM Expositions. The tradeshows are taking place September 23-25, 2014 at the Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia and October 6-8, 2014 at the Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore, Maryland respectively. Tecore executives will be available to discuss the communication advantages the Raven will deliver as it accompanies soldiers across the full spectrum of their missions. The Raven has been proven to operate in the most austere environments.
“Tecore’s Raven, a mobile communications network which becomes operational within minutes, was tailor-made for military, government, and disaster humanitarian missions. Besides its ability to independently size-up the broadband environment it is a very secure, adaptable and cost-effective platform that has already been road tested,” said Kevin Thompson, Director of Government Sales at Tecore. “The importance of having real-time cellular communications available during intense and unpredictable situations can make all the difference while performing a mission. Delivering this in a compact package which fits in the carry-on overhead luggage compartment ensures it will not be a burden to the solider while on the move.”
Inside the Raven is a customized Stove-pipe Communications Security (COMSEC) consolidation and Self-Organizing Network (SON) feature, ensuring communications remain secured and free of jamming. This will prove to be vital in unknown and hostile landscapes. Connectivity with existing indigenous infrastructure and multiple government agencies delivers important interoperability in all directions.
