Salient Federal Solutions Partners with STS Systems Integration on $2.8M Royal Saudi Air Force Contract

Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. (Salient), a leading provider of information technology and engineering services that include data analytics, agile development, mobility, training, and cyber security solutions, today announced partnering with STS Systems Integration (SSI) LLC, the prime contractor, to provide English Language Training (ELT) to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) at Sheppard Air Force Base (AFB) in Wichita Falls, TX. This two-year period of performance is a firm-fixed-price contract that has a potential value of $2.8M.

STS Systems Integration (SSI) is a Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) Alaska Native Corporation. SSI operates throughout the continental United States and abroad at 17 DoD and federal locations providing technical, information management, and engineering support services.

Stability in the Middle East is enhanced with nations that can defend themselves and participate in coalitions supporting common objectives. Many of these nations, including Saudi Arabia, operate U.S. military systems and English is the critical first step toward successful employment and interoperability. Under this contract, Salient will provide ELT for up to 200 RSAF students as part of the Master Training Plan supporting RSAF training for its F-15SA Fleet Modernization Program.

RSAF students graduating from this program will proceed to technical training at Sheppard AFB, TX; Keesler AFB, MS; and Seymour Johnson AFB, SC, where Salient instructors will provide basic maintenance skills to become qualified at the Apprentice Level. Upon successful completion of that training, students will further enhance their skills in F-15 upgrade training at the King Khalid Training Center in Khamis Mushayt, Saudi Arabia.
