Rolls-Royce Agrees Addition to Totalcare Contract With Singapore Airlines

Rolls-Royce is to provide additional TotalCare® long term engine service support for Singapore Airlines.

The agreement covers Trent 900 engines that power 19 Airbus A380 operated by the airline.

Under the agreement, Rolls-Royce will provide an Availability Service Solution that will cover non-routine on-wing engine maintenance. This includes aircraft-initiated line and on-wing maintenance; stagger checks; engine change and lease engine management; and limited life parts technical records.

Ewen McDonald, Rolls-Royce, Senior Vice President – Customers, Civil Large Engines said: “We have a long relationship with Singapore Airlines on the A380 and we welcome their decision to further extend the scope of our TotalCare support.”

Singapore Airlines was the first operator to enter service with the A380 in 2007 with the Trent 900.
