QinetiQ US Wins $7.7M Contract to Enhance C-5 Fleet Protection with LAST Armor

The Defense Logistics Agency awards QinetiQ US a $7.7 million contract to provide survivability solutions for the U.S. Air Force's C-5 Galaxy fleet. QinetiQ US will deliver over 40 LAST Armor® sets to protect the remaining operational C-5 aircraft through their planned service life.

This contract supports Air Mobility Command's mission requirements and demonstrates continued confidence in QinetiQ US’ aircraft protection technologies. LAST Armor® delivers high-performance ballistic protection while maintaining the lightweight requirements essential for military aircraft.

QinetiQ US manufactures survivability solutions at its specialized facility in Franklin, Massachusetts. As the largest global provider of add-on aircraft armor, QinetiQ's LAST Armor® currently protects more than 40 different aircraft types across 16 allied nations.
