Oshkosh Defense Awarded $42.3M Order to Support US Army Reserve Readiness

Oshkosh Defense, LLC, an Oshkosh Corporation business, has received a $42.3 million order for trucks and associated kits, including the installation of Enhanced Container Handling Units (ECHUs), for the U.S. Army Reserve under the Family of Heavy Tactical Vehicles (FHTV) contract.

This award reinforces Oshkosh Defense’s continued commitment to equipping U.S. Army Reserve units with versatile, mission-ready vehicles that support domestic emergency response, training, and operational readiness.

U.S. Army Reserve units play a vital role by providing essential support to the active Army in logistics and maintenance of military operations and providing support for civil emergencies and disasters. The vehicles and kits delivered under this order are built for reliability and adaptability, ensuring Soldiers have dependable equipment ready at a moment’s notice. Oshkosh Defense’s FHTV platforms support logistics, transportation, training, and emergency operations across diverse environments.
