Milrem Robotics, the world-leading developer of robotics and autonomous systems, and CNIM Systèmes Industriels, a recognised leader in engineering solutions, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Eurosatory 2026 to deliver advanced Unmanned Engineering Reconnaissance solutions to defence customers worldwide.

The agreement builds on the successful delivery of multiple unmanned systems combining the companies’ technologies to Ukraine, with an additional batch of systems planned for delivery shortly.

Under the MoU, Milrem Robotics’ THeMIS Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) will become CNIM Systèmes Industriels’ preferred robotic platform whenever an unmanned ground system is required. In turn, CNIM Systèmes Industriels will become Milrem Robotics’ preferred partner for engineering reconnaissance payloads integrated onto the THeMIS platform.

The partnership combines Milrem Robotics’ combat-proven robotic platform expertise with CNIM Systèmes Industriels’ extensive experience in unmanned engineering and mobility assurance systems. Together, the companies aim to provide armed forces with highly capable, modular, and scalable solutions that enhance operational effectiveness while reducing risks to personnel.

“The THeMIS platform has proven its adaptability across a wide range of operational scenarios and payload integrations,” said Kuldar Väärsi, CEO of Milrem Robotics. “This agreement with CNIM Systèmes Industriels further strengthens our ability to offer customers world-class route clearance solutions on a trusted robotic platform.”

“The operational feedback from systems delivered to Ukraine has demonstrated the value of combining proven robotic platforms with advanced engineering systems,” said ACQUAVIVA Pierre-Jérôme, Defence Business Unit Director at CNIM Systèmes Industriels. “This partnership enables us to further expand the deployment of integrated unmanned solutions that improve force protection and operational efficiency.”

The collaboration will focus on joint business development, payload integration, and the promotion of interoperable route clearance solutions for military and security customers worldwide.
