MicroTech wins $86 M BPA with Department of Navy

On November 24, 2014 , MicroTech was awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the Department of the Navy (DoN) Fleet Logistic Center Norfolk (Contracting Department, Norfolk Office) in conjunction with the Naval Supply Systems Command, Mechanicsburg, PA.

Through this BPA, valued at $86M over three years, MicroTech will support the Department of the Navy's initiative in reducing the costs of acquiring Customer Technical Representative (CTR) Support Services for the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) and enhancing customer requirement fulfillment, improving the acquisition process, leveraging department-wide purchasing power, and building vendor partnerships.

"MicroTech understands the importance of the role that the CTR provides to the NMCI/NGEN end user at the local command level," said Tony Jimenez , MicroTech President and CEO.  "Through this BPA, we will support that role through the delivery of end user services, including account, application, contract, network and security management, as well as technical support."
