Mbda Contributes to an Innovative European Gbad Solution

MBDA collaborates with Lockheed Martin UK, Leonardo and Indra to provide a European innovative, practical and operationally ready solution to NATO GBAD Concept Study 2

MBDA, in collaboration with Lockheed Martin UK (leading the project), Indra and Leonardo, has been selected for Concept Study 2 (Modularity) by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) based on work jointly delivered during Concept Study?1 (System Architecture).

This collaboration will bring together the collective experience of the different companies, to provide NATO with proven and innovative solutions and technologies in support of NATO's modular GBAD capabilities. This project will demonstrate the benefit of bringing together diverse expertise, programme management and engineering excellence to accelerate innovation and deliver a single, cohesive capability that is cost-effective, operationally seamless, interoperable and aligned with the joint threat picture - benefits that would not be realised through a single-company approach.

MBDA will contribute to this important project by sharing its experience in cooperation programs, which have always been the pride and the distinguishing feature of our company. We will also contribute by demonstrating our commitment to the continuous study and search for innovative solutions, to be ready to respond to current and future threats, to meet the demands of our customers, and to continue laying the foundations for the MBDA of the future.
