-?LifePort, a Sikorsky company, amended its Bell 407 Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) to add the new Machined Stretcher, improved Oxygen Cylinder Mount, and new Utility Mount. This new product offering provides operators with increased capability and improved durability, including:
“We are very excited about enhancing our current product offering in the Bell 407,” said James McDaniel, general manager for LifePort’s Air Medical and Seating business. LifePort developed the Utility Mount and Oxygen Cylinder Mount in partnership with PHI, Inc., for PHI’s fleet of Bell 407 helicopters. The Machined Stretcher brings increased performance to the mission, and is a product that will serve the market for years to come. This STC represents the first step in the process to make the Machined Stretcher available across a variety of rotor wing platforms.
LifePort has more than 25 years of experience developing and manufacturing medical interiors for fixed and rotor wing aircraft, and this current upgrade to the legacy product further showcases the innovation, collaboration, and commitment to the company’s customers and the market.
