-L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) has received a $170 million order from a Central European nation for its Falcon® IV family of communication systems. The technology will support ongoing force modernization initiatives and will enhance secure, seamless interoperability with U.S. and NATO partners.
The new systems will provide next-generation voice and high-speed data communications, which L3Harris designed to strengthen the command-and-control architecture. The Falcon IV radios will enhance mission effectiveness and coalition coordination through improved situational awareness, connectivity and performance in contested environments.
“Central Europe is currently undergoing a major modernization of its capabilities, and L3Harris radios are a force multiplier in that transformation,” said Chris Aebli, President, Mission Critical Communications, Communications & Spectrum Dominance, L3Harris. “Our Falcon IV systems provide Europe with assured communications to remain connected regardless of their operating environment.”
L3Harris is supporting NATO modernization with programs underway in Germany , the Netherlands and other allied nations. The adoption of Falcon IV radios ensures full interoperability with these efforts, strengthening network cohesion, enhancing coalition readiness and supporting long-term mission success.
