Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), a world-class aerospace and defense leader, has received EASA and FAA certification to perform QT level maintenance for CFMI LEAP-1A Series Engines. Additionally, the company is also in the final stages of extending this certification to LEAP-1B engines. This certification opens a new channel of business for the company's Engine maintenance, repairs and operations (MRO) services, which also includes Engine MRO for the existing list of capabilities such as CFM56-3/5/7, V2500 & PW4000 Engine Overhaul.

By entering the LEAP engines MRO market, IAI will reach a wider range of global customers, offering them new state-of-the-art capabilities based on the company's extensive experience and cutting-edge infrastructure, accumulated over the last five decades.

It is known worldwide for its MRO activities as a center of knowledge, innovation and excellence, ensuring long-term, dedicated customer support and a rapid response for all aircraft needs.

Shmuel Kuzi, VP and GM of IAI’s Aviation Group said: "We are expanding our portfolio of solutions we offer our customers in the MRO sector as part of our long-term strategy, which sees this sector as a key growth driver alongside our additional activities such as freighter conversion. Our MRO division's entry into LEAP engines is a significant milestone in realizing this vision, and we look forward to further milestones expected shortly."

Ido Ben Cnaan, VP & General Manager, MRO Division, IAI Aviation Group: "IAI's MRO Division has been providing the highest level of Engine MRO services for over five decades and we are currently undergoing a period of growth and expansion in order to provide our unparalleled MRO services to as many customers as possible.
