HAVELSAN has successfully completed the software integration activities carried out on board TCG ANADOLU, Türkiye’s largest naval vessel, within the scope of the ADVENT Combat Management System (CMS) and the FleetStar Ship Data Distribution System (SDDS). The integration, completed ahead of the Steadfast Dart 2026 Exercise, has operationally validated HAVELSAN’s network-centric command and control architecture on a frontline naval platform.

Developed by HAVELSAN in line with the operational experience and know-how of the Turkish Naval Forces, the network-enabled ADVENT CMS and FleetStar provide naval platforms with advanced command and control and data management capabilities. This architectural framework enables the fusion of data collected from different sensors and platforms into a single operational picture, significantly enhancing speed, coordination, and situational awareness in complex naval operations.

Within the scope of the integration, bi-directional data exchange between ADVENT CMS and the Bayraktar TB3 unmanned aerial vehicle was successfully verified, enabling the direct transfer of imagery and mission data from the UAV to the combat management system. This capability shortens decision-making cycles in command and control processes, while the modular architecture of FleetStar paves the way for the rapid and secure integration of new platforms and capabilities into the system.

Thanks to the network-centric architecture of ADVENT CMS, data obtained from Bayraktar TB3 is no longer limited to TCG ANADOLU alone, but can also be shared with other naval assets within the task group. This structure strengthens inter-platform coordination and interoperability by providing a holistic command and control approach in joint naval operations.

Serving as the core command and control element of a warship, ADVENT CMS integrates radar, sonar, weapon systems, and electronic warfare assets under a unified command and control architecture, while FleetStar serves as the “nervous system” of this structure by distributing sensor data to all relevant subsystems in real time with high reliability and precision. As part of the integration on board TCG ANADOLU, ADVENT CMS also calculates the relative position and approach geometry of the unmanned aerial vehicle with respect to the ship in real time, contributing to a safe and coordinated operational environment.

This achievement demonstrates the maturity of HAVELSAN’s holistic, network-centric combat management approach, which brings manned and unmanned platforms together under a single digital operational architecture. The ADVENT and FleetStar architecture offer a next-generation solution that addresses the interoperability, data fusion, and network-centric warfare requirements of modern naval forces.
