Harris Awarded $19 M Tactical Radio IDIQ Contract from US AFSOC

Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) has been awarded a $19 million IDIQ contract to provide the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) with up to 1,500 Falcon III ® AN/PRC-152A wideband radios and accessories.

The AN/PRC-152A is a key component of AFSOC's communication system, providing mission critical ground-to-air communications and enhanced situational awareness of the battlefield. The wideband tactical radios meet current and emerging mission requirements using a full suite of integrated line-of-sight, beyond-line-of-sight and wideband communications.

Harris Falcon III wideband tactical radios provide unprecedented situational awareness on the battlefield by delivering critical real-time tactical information to warfighters on the move. The company has shipped more than 45,000 of these radios to the U.S. Department of Defense as well as allied forces in more than 15 nations.
