GKN Aerospace and LM Expand Agreement on PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement

GKN Aerospace has signed a follow-on contract with Lockheed Martin [NYSE:LMT] to supply launch tubes for the PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) through 2025. Along with the follow-on contact, an additional agreement was reached for a development contract set to begin in October 2021 for tooling, pathfinder units, and qualification necessary to  manufacture the mid-section and seeker housing with production of PAC-3 MSE hardware beginning in 2024.

For more than 30 years, GKN Aerospace’s Fokker business has applied proven production methods and capabilities to successfully support the PAC-3 program with the development of lightweight composite launch tubes.

The PAC-3 family of missilies are a combat-proven interceptor that defends against incoming threats, including tactical ballistic missilies, cruise missiles and aircraft.
