DAC Aviation International signs ABACUS exchange contract with Fokker Services

Fokker Services is pleased to announce that DAC Aviation International Ltd. (DAC), located in LaSalle Canada, has decided to enter into a 3 year ABACUS exchange program for its fleet of 7 Dash 8/Q100*/Q200*/Q300*  turboprops and 2 CRJ 200 aircraft.

With this program, DAC will enjoy the services provided under the ABACUS program for Dash 8 aircraft and CRJ aircraft. Under the ABACUS exchange agreement, Fokker Services will provide an Exchange and Repair Support Program for DAC fleet of 8 Dash 8/Q100*/Q200*/Q300* and 2 CRJ200 aircraft. The services include forward exchange and re-conditioning, covering all major line replaceable units on Dash8 and limited components on CRJ200 aircraft.

ABACUS is the longest running Component Availability program in aviation history, supporting more than 200 aircraft and serving more than 30 operators of regional aircraft such as the Dash 8 aircraft and since 2015 also CRJ series aircraft. The program can be tailored to combine maintenance services and inventory lease with guaranteed availability and service levels. It focuses on cost predictability and increased component reliability for more time on-wing. ABACUS members have access to extensive exchange pools located in the USA, Europe and Asia and are supported by a 24/7 staffed AOG desk.
