CTech, a pioneer in satellite and line of sight (LOS) communication technologies for defense and aerospace domains, Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), a leading, innovation-centric university committed to advancing education and research to address critical challenges facing Qatar and beyond, and Nardan Motor, a developer of high-quality, advanced-technology electrical machinery, are thrilled to announce that they have been awarded project funding under Cycle 6 of the QRDI-TÜBITAK Academia-Industry Cooperation Call (AICC).
The three organizations unveiled the “Next-Generation Motor-Driven SATCOM Antenna System Project” at the DIMDEX 2026 exhibition held in Qatar.

Uninterrupted Communication via Next-Generation Drive Systems

The project is set to deliver uninterrupted and reliable communication capabilities specifically engineered for mobile platforms. By integrating advanced drive systems and additive manufacturing, the partnership aims to overcome existing limitations in mobile satellite connectivity.

Collaboration Announced at DIMDEX Exhibition

Symbolizing the growing technological synergy between Qatar and Türkiye, the collaboration was announced during the Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition (DIMDEX), held in Qatar from January 19 to 22. Aligned with evolving global requirements, the project is designed to provide critical technological advancements for both civilian and military platforms.
