Comtech Telecommunications Receives $2.5 M for Solid-State High-Power Amplifiers for Military Applications

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today that its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology Inc., has received a $2.5 million order to supply solid-state high-power amplifiers to a military integrator. The order was for a new high power Gallium-Nitride (GaN) based SSPA product that will upgrade existing transportable satellite communications (SATCOM) systems providing voice, data, video conferencing, internet and high resolution video connectivity for deployed military forces. Comtech Xicom’s rugged, compact SSPA features robust designs ensuring highly efficient and reliable operation in challenging environments.
