Comtech Telecommunications Receives $14.3 M of Funding for Orders to Support DoD Operations

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL) announced today that, during its third quarter of fiscal 2016, its government solutions segment has received funding for orders, aggregating $14.3 million, to provide advanced communications solutions for the Department of Defense. These orders, which will support mission critical operations, include:

  • $8.4 million for tactical communications systems that provide multimedia communications capabilities which convey encrypted voice, video and data;
  • $3.1 million for field support of ground satellite terminals; and
  • $2.8 million for the delivery of training solutions.
