Comtech Telecommunications Awarded $6.7 M for Communications Jamming High-Power Amplifier Systems

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today that its New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., received multiple orders totaling approximately $6.7 million for broadband, solid-state, high-power RF microwave amplifier systems from two different international OEMs.

The amplifier systems, which include the latest broadband solid-state switching and transistor technology, provide for very broad frequency coverage and will be utilized as part of communications jamming systems.

In commenting on these contract awards, Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, “These orders clearly demonstrate our continued leadership position in providing communications jamming technology and the ongoing need for our high-power broadband amplifiers that are utilized by major electronic warfare application programs in both domestic and international markets.”
