Comtech Receives $3.0 M to Continue Development of a Rapidly Deployable AEHF Terminal

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced today, that during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2019, its Command & Control Technologies group, which is part of Comtech’s Government Solutions segment, was awarded $3.0 million in rapid innovation funding from the U.S. Transportation Command (“USTRANSCOM”) of the U.S. Department of Defense (“DoD”) for the continued development of the Advanced Extremely High Frequency (“AEHF”) “Protected Ultra” (“P-Ultra”), protected SATCOM fly away terminal in support of the Joint Communications Support Element (“JCSE”).

This program supports the Army’s Network Modernization Strategy and the end state for the future Army Network where: i) Warfighters will be able to fight, shoot, move, communicate, protect and sustain, and ii) Warfighters will be able to reliably communicate anywhere, anytime, in all domains, in all environments, against any foe.
