Boeing Statement on Qantas' Intent to Purchase 787 Dreamliners

Boeing is pleased that Qantas has announced its intent to purchase eight 787-9 Dreamliners.

"We are honored that Qantas has selected the 787 for its fleet renewal plan and to build upon on our long-standing relationship,” said Dinesh Keskar, senior vice president, Asia Pacific & India Sales, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. “The Dreamliner is the perfect fit for Qantas’ new long-haul fleet, providing them with superior economics, flexibility and capability.”
