Bittium will present its latest innovations in resilient and secure communications at Eurosatory 2026, demonstrating how its advanced technologies enable seamless situational awareness across multi-domain operations.
At this year’s event, Bittium highlights new capabilities and features that extend and strengthen the tactical network.
World premiere for new capabilities
- Bittium Tough SDR Unmanned™ connects unmanned land, air, and sea systems directly into the tactical network, enabling them to operate as fully integrated network nodes instead of isolated systems. With seamless integration into Bittium’s mobile ad hoc network (MANET), the purpose-built radio module enables defence forces real-time command, control and situational awareness across contested environments.
- Bittium MissionNet™ replaces isolated vehicle intercom systems with a fully networked approach integrating military vehicle crew communications directly into the tactical battlefield IP network. As part of the solution, Bittium is introducing the Bittium Tough PTT™, a rugged push-to-talk device that serves as a networked endpoint delivering both voice and data connectivity.
Software-defined radios as situational awareness sensors, powered by AI
In collaboration with MarshallAI, Bittium demonstrates a capability, where software-defined radios act as AI-powered sensors that detect, analyse and monitor the electromagnetic operating environment in real time. This transforms existing communications infrastructure into a distributed sensing network, enhancing situational awareness and supporting force protection without adding complexity for the user.
Hybrid networking connecting the tactical edge to strategic command
- Bittium integrates its resilient tactical communications with 4G/5G, SATCOM, HF, and fixed networks into a seamless hybrid communications environment. This approach supports interoperability and continuity of communications across domains, echelons, and partner systems. Central to this capability is the Bittium FUSOR™ software router, which bridges tactical and commercial network domains. Using the same routing logic as Bittium's tactical radios, it automatically selects the best available data path as conditions change, ensuring communications remain uninterrupted whether a unit is operating in a degraded environment or moving between network coverage areas
Sovereign secure mobile communications
- Bittium presents its portfolio for secure mobile communications, highlighting the SafeMove® software suite, designed to enable communications across multiple platforms and environments. As communications sovereignty has become a strategic priority, organisations can no longer afford to rely on infrastructure they do not fully own or control. Bittium SafeMove® is built on exactly that principle.
All solutions come together to form a unified communications fabric; supporting defence forces in maintaining situational awareness and decision-making capability across modern multi-domain operations.
