-Anduril Industries today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Klas, a global leader in edge computing and tactical communications. The acquisition, pending regulatory approval, brings Klas’ rugged hardware into Anduril's portfolio of autonomous systems and connected warfare capabilities—delivering faster, more resilient and seamlessly integrated solutions for operations in harsh conditions at the tactical edge.
Modern defense operations require compute and connectivity that go wherever the mission does—not just where the infrastructure allows. Klas is best known for its Voyager line: a modular family of compute and networking systems built to survive extreme temperatures, jamming, dust, and denied environments. Voyager is already deployed as part of Anduril’s Menace family of systems, supporting operations across ground, maritime, and air domains.
This acquisition builds on that foundation. Every autonomous system is only as capable as the compute and comms it carries—together, they form the nervous system that enables real-time decision-making, coordination, and mission execution.
By unifying Anduril’s Lattice software platform, autonomy, and sensor capabilities with Klas’ compute and networking infrastructure, we can deliver lightweight, mission-tailored systems that are faster to deploy, easier to maintain, and more resilient under pressure. Anduril can now adapt edge compute and comms to the specific needs of each mission, platform, or unit—reducing integration risk and getting critical tech into the hands of warfighters faster.
Klas will continue operating from its facilities in Ireland and the U.S., with plans to expand manufacturing to support demand across the Anduril portfolio. The deal also establishes Anduril’s first office in Dublin, furthering the company’s international presence across Europe, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and Taiwan.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
