-Component Control announced today that A&R Aviation Services, an FAA and EASA 145 Repair Station, utilized Quantum Control MRO and Logistics software to significantly streamline its shop processes and improve efficiency.
Based in Tumwater, Washington, A&R Aviation Services specializes in maintaining, repairing and overhauling aircraft structures and components for Boeing, Airbus and Douglas transport aircraft. The service center’s 36 employees operate out of a 60,000-square-foot facility.
“Every day we are dedicated to exceeding customer expectations, and we do. Quantum is a vital key to our success and we appreciate every piece of it,” said Ronnie Hix, CEO of A&R Aviation Services. “We specifically utilize the shop control module and all modules supporting it to track each and every detail of our customers’ work orders. By utilizing all of the key components of Quantum, our shop processes have improved significantly.”
When it opened in 2008, A&R Aviation Services started with just three users on the Quantum system. Today, it has 30 concurrent users, according to Hix. “Utilizing the system to our capability has streamlined our processes and brought better efficiency to A&R,” he said.
Quantum Control MRO and Logistics solution installed at A&R Aviation Services operates on a highly scalable and secure OracleTM database and includes various logistics and business modules.
